“Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing” (Psalm 100:1-2).
The primary purpose of the Faith Baptist Church music ministry is to give glory, honor, and praise to God. Scripture says in Colossians 3:17, “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” Members involved in this ministry are given many avenues to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and His body, the church.
The Purpose Of Music In Worship:
- To lead Scripture-based worship in every Sunday morning service.
- To encourage and edify the Body of Christ through special music presentations.
- To reach the lost through seasonal and non-seasonal music concerts and productions.
- To develop Christ-centered relationships as we serve the Lord and each other.
The Lord created the powerful gift of music and He has given us voices to praise and worship Him with. The Faith Baptist Church Choir is made up of church members who have the desire to sing and worship the Lord. The worship choir has the unique privilege and responsibility of leading the church congregation in corporate worship each week.
In addition to leading worship for Sunday morning services, the worship choir — along with the instrument accompaniment — presents several musical productions throughout the year.
If you play a musical instrument and would like to use your talent for the Lord, Faith Baptist Church has a place for you.
